Tous les membres de la Justice League sont présents Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Green Lantern et Cyborg. Les super-héros sont là mais également les super-vilains contre lesquels ils se battent. Le masque du Joker, Nathan Sawaya, 11756 briques Bustes, statues en pieds, interprétations originales, reproductions de couverture de comics, objets et véhicules cultes sont présents dans cette exposition qui regroupe près de 120 œuvres de Nathan Sawaya. Une super exposition ! J’adore le principe de créer des œuvres avec des LEGO, comme une version pour adultes des histoires qu’on s’inventait enfant en jouant avec nos briquettes. Mais en plus de l’idée originale, Nathan Sawaya le fait également avec talent ! Superman Bleu, Nathan Sawaya, 28397 briques Hommage aux LEGO et aussi à l’univers des super-héros de DC Comics, ces œuvres sont toutes plus impressionnantes les unes que les autres. Elles sont toutes accompagnées d’une petite fiches explicatives, qui détaille les volontés de l’artiste et donne aussi le nombre exact de briques LEGO utilisées pour la réalisation ; et ce nombre est hallucinant ! Action Comics Nathan Sawaya, 29631 briques L’exposition, classée par thème dans chacune des salles, nous embarque pour un voyage dans les univers des héros de la Justice League avec ambiance sonore à l’appui et une vidéo d’introduction de Nathan Sawaya. Pour un prix de 15€, l’expo The Art of the Brick DC Super Heroes nous fait voyager dans un univers coloré avec des héros charismatiques, des vilains tordus mais aussi des interprétations artistiques qui flirtent parfois avec la philosophie. Parmi toutes les œuvres, j’ai particulièrement aimé le Superman bleu et sa cape flottant au vent comme s’il s’agissait d’un véritable tissu et non de briques LEGO, mais aussi l’espiègle Joker qui accueille les visiteurs en mangeant du popcorn ou encore le Batman de dos avec une couverture de Detective Comics sur la cape, pour une fois qu’il s’habille en couleurs !
